Santo Wines Winery is one of the most successful cooperatives in Greece, producing excellent, typical wines with an extraordinary quality-to-price ratio. The grapes are harvested in the last days of August, and the wine is aged for 6 months in 225-liter French oak barrels and another 6 months in the bottle, gaining enviable complexity and structure.

Organoleptic Characteristics:

The Assyrtiko Grand Reserve Santo Wines has a medium lemon color with golden hues and rich aromas of smoke, lemon, citrus, grapefruit, peach, toast, butter, and vanilla. On the palate, ripe citrus fruits, nuts, honey, vanilla, a touch of saltiness, and flint flood the senses.

Pairings:

It pairs perfectly with roasted pork with crispy skin and tortelli stuffed with lobster in a cream sauce. Serve at 10°C.
